One of the main strategic advantages of the Polis Re Insurance Center is its team.

Staffing in the company is directly overseen by the chief executive. The requirements for the company’s employees fall into two main areas: moral and ethical, and professional.

Today the company is proud that its team includes specialists with 10 years of experience in insurance and related fields, an impeccable business reputation and high moral and ethical qualities.

The employees are the Company’s main asset: a friendly, creative, young, close-knit team. We build a team of professionals, constantly take care of improving their qualifications and create the necessary motivation. All employees are given equal opportunities for professional and career growth.

Why the team matters so much in insurance

An insurance contract is a complex document. It contains limits, a deductible, a list of risks and exclusions, the policyholder’s obligations and notification deadlines. Whether the protection works at the right moment depends on how accurately the specialist understands the client’s task and how carefully he or she checks the terms. The quality of an insurance service is therefore first and foremost the quality of the people who provide it.

Professional requirements

  • Knowledge of products and legislation. A specialist must understand the differences between types of insurance, the requirements of the laws on compulsory insurance and the rules established by the regulator – ARDFM.
  • Ability to analyse risks. It is important not simply to issue a policy but to determine which risks are significant for the client and how best to cover them.
  • Working with documents. Attention to the details of the contract and the data in the policy rules out errors that could complicate payment.
  • Clear explanation. The client must understand what he or she is buying, so complex terms are explained in plain language.

Moral and ethical requirements

  • honesty in consultations: clients are told not only about the advantages of a programme but also about its limitations and exclusions;
  • confidentiality of information about the client and the client’s property;
  • no pressure in making a choice: the decision always remains with the client;
  • responsibility for promises given and deadlines.

How the team works with a client

The work is built as a single process in which specialists from different areas take part:

  1. The consultant finds out the client’s task, explains the protection options and answers questions.
  2. Programme selection specialists prepare requests to insurers, compare proposals and check contract terms.
  3. Service managers support existing contracts: they make changes, remind clients about renewals and help with documents.
  4. Claims settlement specialists help when an insured event occurs: they advise on the procedure, check the set of documents and monitor the payment process.

For corporate clients a responsible specialist is, as a rule, assigned who knows the features of the business and manages all the company’s contracts – from property insurance to compulsory employee accident insurance.

Training and development

The insurance market is constantly changing: laws are updated, new products appear and insurers’ terms change. Professional development is therefore a permanent part of the work. Employees study changes in legislation, insurance companies’ new programmes and claims settlement practice, and experienced specialists pass on their knowledge to colleagues.

What this gives the client

  • clear recommendations based on risk analysis, not on a wish to sell a particular product;
  • careful checking of the contract terms before signing;
  • support throughout the whole period of insurance;
  • support when an insured event occurs, when it is especially important to act correctly and on time.

Frequently asked questions

Who will I work with after the policy is arranged?

After the contract is concluded the client is supported by a service manager: you can contact him or her about changes to the policy, renewal or clarification of terms. When an insured event occurs, claims settlement specialists become involved.

Can I get a consultation before deciding on insurance?

Yes. A consultation helps you understand which risks are worth insuring and what options exist on the market, and it carries no obligation. The client makes the decision to conclude a contract independently.

You can get acquainted with our lines of work in the insurance section, and contact the specialists via the contacts page. If you have a question about insurance protection, you can get a consultation.
