What the mission means in practice

Insurance is needed not for the sake of the policy itself but for the confidence that an unforeseen event – an accident, a fire, an illness, a business interruption – will not destroy the financial plans of a family or a company. That is why our work begins not with selling a product but with a question: which risks are really significant for the client and how much is he or she prepared to lose if they materialise.

Reduce financial losses

We help determine which risks should be transferred to the insurer and which the client can retain. To do this, suitable limits, a reasonable deductible and a set of risks are selected, and the exclusions in the contract are checked in advance – so that when an insured event occurs it does not turn out that an important situation is not covered.

Save funds

Saving is not only a low price for the policy. It is correctly selected cover without unnecessary options, a comparison of the terms of different insurers and competent support of the contract, so that the client does not lose a payment because of errors in documents or missed deadlines.

Develop insurance culture

The better the client understands how insurance works, the more consciously he or she chooses protection. We explain terms in plain language and tell clients about the rights of the policyholder and the procedure to follow when an insured event occurs. The basic concepts are collected in the glossary.

A civilised market

Transparent terms, honest consultations and compliance with the requirements of the regulator – ARDFM – build trust in insurance as a whole. We work with licensed insurance companies and help the client understand their offers; the list of partners is presented in the insurance companies section.

How we work with a client

  1. We find out the task: what needs to be protected, which risks are a concern, what budget is acceptable.
  2. We analyse the risks and form the requirements for insurance cover.
  3. We request and compare insurers’ proposals and explain the differences in terms.
  4. We help to arrange the contract and check that everything agreed is reflected in it.
  5. We provide support throughout the term: changes, renewal, consultations.
  6. When an insured event occurs we help to collect documents and monitor the settlement process.

Who we work for

For private clients we help with motor insurance, home, health, life and travel insurance. For companies – with property, cargo, liability, vehicle fleet and staff insurance, including compulsory employee accident insurance. An overview of the lines is available in the insurance section.

Frequently asked questions

How does an insurance broker differ from an insurance company?

An insurance company assumes the risk and pays compensation. A broker does not replace the insurer: it helps the client understand the offers of different companies, choose suitable terms, arrange the contract correctly and receive support when an insured event occurs.

Who decides on the payment?

The decision on the payment is made by the insurance company under the terms of the contract and the legislation. The broker’s task is to help the client notify the insurer in good time, collect a complete set of documents and defend the client’s interests during settlement.
