Polis Re helps clients compare the terms of insurance organizations in Kazakhstan and choose a suitable program taking into account risks, exclusions, limits and the payment procedure. According to the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, as of 1 June 2026 the insurance sector consisted of 25 insurance organizations, including 10 life insurance companies.

Polis Re takes a practical approach to risk management and helps assess not only the price of a policy but also the content of the insurance protection. When selecting a program, we take into account the following principles:

  1. the match of the insurance program to the client's actual risks;
  2. reducing the time spent on comparing offers independently:
    • instead of approaching the representatives of individual companies, the client can compare several options through the Polis Re Insurance Center;
  3. transparency of terms, exclusions and deductibles;
  4. checking the scope of insurance cover and the liability limits;
  5. comparing the available offers on equal terms;
  6. taking into account the quality of support and claims settlement.

What we do:

  • we select insurance terms taking into account the client's needs and budget;
  • we help to arrange a policy with the chosen insurance organization and support the contract during its term;
  • we explain the procedure and the list of initial documents when an insured event occurs;
  • we advise on non-standard situations related to insurance;
  • we help to prepare an appeal and documents in the event of disagreements with the insurer;
  • we remind you of the end of the policy period and the need to renew it.

Our task is to make the choice of an insurance program clear and well founded.

  • consultations on the available types of insurance;
  • saving time when comparing insurance organizations;
  • assessing the terms when moving to another insurance organization;
  • help in preparing documents for loss settlement;
  • comparison of cost, deductibles, limits and exclusions;
  • supporting the client throughout the term of the contract.

Why the Polis Re Insurance Center rather than approaching just one insurance company

An insurance company offers its own products. Comparing several options lets you see differences in cover, exclusions, deductibles, notification deadlines and the list of documents. Before concluding a contract, it is important to check the insurer's licence, the insurance rules and all material terms of the policy.

Why the Polis Re Insurance Center rather than an individual private agent

Support does not end when the policy is issued. When an insured event occurs, it is important to notify the insurer in good time, record the circumstances of the event and collect documents in accordance with the contract. Polis Re helps the client to understand the procedure and to prepare the set of documents for review.

How to check an insurance company before buying a policy

  1. Licence. Make sure the insurer holds a valid ARDFM licence specifically for the required class of insurance. A life insurance company is not entitled to sell, for example, CASCO, and vice versa.
  2. Financial stability. Pay attention to the published financial statements, compliance with prudential standards, the amount of own capital, and the existence of a rating.
  3. Participation in the guarantee system. Find out whether the company is a participant in the Insurance Payments Guarantee Fund for the types of insurance where the law provides for this.
  4. Insurance rules. Ask for the rules in full, not just the policy: that is where the exclusions, the procedure for determining damage, and the deadlines for notification and payment are described.
  5. Claims settlement practice. How quickly the company considers applications, whether it has an office or partners in your region, and whether documents can be submitted online.

How to compare offers

Comparing policies on price alone is the main mistake. At the same cost, two contracts can differ greatly. Compare:

  • the list of insured risks and exclusions;
  • the sum insured and the limits for individual risks;
  • the amount and type of deductible — conditional or unconditional;
  • the method of determining damage: by estimate, repair at a service station, by market value, with or without depreciation;
  • the deadlines for notifying an insured event and the list of documents;
  • the terms of early termination and refund of part of the premium.

For compulsory types of insurance, such as MTPL or OSRNS, tariffs are set by law, and the choice should be made on the quality of service and claims settlement. For voluntary types — CASCO, property, VMI, liability — the differences in terms can be substantial.

Typical mistakes when choosing an insurer

  • taking out a policy without reading the insurance rules;
  • understating the sum insured to save money and, as a consequence, a proportional payment in the event of a loss;
  • incomplete or inaccurate information in the application, which later becomes grounds for refusal;
  • missing the deadlines for notifying an insured event;
  • choosing a company that has no office in the region where the insured object is located.

You can start the comparison with the insurance companies section, and an overview of the available types of protection is collected in the insurance section. If you would like the terms of several insurers compared for you, you can get a consultation.

We work in the client's interests. The terms and the cost of services are clarified before the contract is concluded.

We wish you reliable insurance protection and are ready to help you select a program with clear terms.
